Back to school with face masks 

It’s Summer 2020, and we're in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents are facing a difficult situation: Kids are going back to school in person, many for the first time in months. For many students and schools, masks are a requirement - it's challenging to get youngsters to wear anything for hours, let alone a (necessary, but still challenging) mask.

 

VistaPrint's goal was to turn our soft fabric face masks into a key item on every back-to-school checklist. What’s more, we wanted to highlight masks’ lesser-known superpower: They’re another way for students to show off their interests and personalities.

We were also interested in getting students excited about the masks they’d be wearing back to school. VistaPrint launched a custom-mask design contest, in which kids of all ages could create and share their creativity. Winners received special prizes, as well as masks for their school. The contest was guest-judged by Kristen Bell and gained national media attention on E! Online, Romper, and more.
